This article analyses the rapprochement between Turkey and the Middle East, as well as the Arab revolutions: which have been the main determinants of Turkish foreign policy and the diplomacy of the Middle East?, what has changed, and what has not, during and after the Arab Spring?, and how should the debate on the «Turkish model» be understood? To answer these questions, the article analyses the evolution of Turkish politics regarding the Middle East from the nineties to the Arab revolutions.
