Online communities in the Arab world have become one of the most important facets of today’s Internet and therefore the services to facilitate communication and interaction between people with different skills and knowledge must be promoted and granted, as networking has become inseparable from content accumulation and circulation. This is the case of the social network Facebook, where the members mainly use the site for social aims, for political/religious issues, or to fulfill physiological needs. Taking into account all these aspects, the object of this article, based on a representative sample of 1500 Arab-users, is to analyze what Facebook offers to Arab Youth, how they use it and how their presence is structured within the social network.
