The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the world of astrology in Al-Andalus, based on the perspective of Maghrebian astrologers from the late thirteenth century to the early fifteenth century, affording us greater knowledge about the sciences on which astrology was based and the specific use made of its methods and tables. To achieve this, the article includes an initial section briefly devoted to understanding the scientific nature of judgments based upon the stars, or in other words, on astrology, as they were understood in the Middle Ages, and a second section discussing the Moorish works, methods and tables that provide us with a depiction of the astrology of Al-Andalus produced in the Maghreb.
